VOLA

– a Danish design story

When you choose VOLA, you don’t just get a product with design and quality that last for generations - you also become part of Danish design history, with its Danish design icons produced in the best Danish craft tradition. The VOLA fixtures are produced at the factory in Horsens. For more than 50 years, VOLA has created timeless and thus long-lasting design and in fact still supplies spare parts for fixtures produced in 1968 so that the fixtures can be maintained and repaired and you can enjoy them for many years – also benefitting the environment.

VOLA is part of the generation of design classics from the golden age of Danish design. The first VOLA fixtures were designed by Arne Jacobsen, a Danish designer known in particular for his famous chairs back in 1968 – and it was in that same year that Arne Munch designed the uno form Classic kitchen.

From the beginning, the VOLA series was intended as a modular system that included the functions needed in a bathroom. Over the years, the modular system has been expanded and perfected so that it is now possible to put together your very own fixture by combining a valve system, handle, outlet, cover plate or base ring together with selected accessories. The series is available in brushed stainless steel, highly polished chrome, brushed chrome, polished brass and 14 different colours, so there are plenty of options for creating a completely individual design solution.
